Course Description:
This course covers the advanced principles of simulation and game design. Topics include advanced design concepts in simulation and game development. Upon completion, students should be able to design an advanced simulation or game.

Course Goals:
  1. Explain the various genres of simulations/games & the unique characteristics of each
  2. Formulate accurate predictions regarding the future of simulations & games
  3. Describe the technical challenges presented by online game
Course Objectives:
Upon successful completion, students will be able to demonstrate (through completion of classwork and assignments):
  • Construct advanced simulations & games

  • Prepare & employ art assets for simulations & games

  • If you miss a lecture or arrive late, you are responsible for the material presented, handouts distributed, and any announcements made that day. The instructor will not provide notes for missed classes.
